"Since you guys were saying on your seminar that your product (PRO Tek Concrete) applied to concrete increased the MPA strength it aroused my curiosity so I had to do it for myself to see.
We did a sidewalk slab pour from which I took two test cores during placement. On one (which I labeled) I applied Pro Tek Concrete via your recommendations. Keep it a wet sheen look for twenty minutes. I kept them in the exact same environment as the concrete slab sidewalks for 24 hours. It was a windy day, low humidity with temp 18 Celsius and the top of the concrete on the samples and sidewalk were drying out fairly significantly.
When the samples had hardened I removed the plastic cylinders with compressed air via the bottom hole then placed them together in the same location/environment.
I had labeled them accordingly as the Pro Tek Concrete surface finished one still had a wet sheen so there was no mixing them up plus I had them labelled with a jiffy marker on the plastic cylinders as well.
28 days later at the MPA test, the Pro Tek concrete sample broke at 28.44MPA.
The untreated sample broke at 22.33MPA.
Same truck, same environment, same concrete, same core filling procedure but different results. Just a simple application increased strength by over 20%.
